Midnight thoughts are those that cave into each and every nerve in our body and makes us questions about every do's and don'ts that we have fixed in our life. She had the same thoughts webbed into her mind while she started binge watching 13 reasons why.

The head-turning show which talks about the potentially disturbing subject matter, including sexual assault, substance abuse, and teen suicide took her back to that day when she faced something as such. Not to talk about what happened in detail she was a survivor of sexual abuse that went on for a long period of time, and it was scary how much it did affect her life and how hard it is to accept. A complicated thing here is that when she faced sexual harassment, it did ruin her badly, even though at first it used just to scare her, every touch used to bring her back those horrifying memories, but slowly it started effecting her as a person and her perspectives about everything without knowing how.

After a couple of hours when she had enough of 13 reasons why and when the world offered her the perfect environment for over thinking, it again took her back to the days when every relation in her life and every emotion in her life changed for bad. There were nights when she thought that she got over the nonstop judgment and her own made rejections, something bad happened which again made her let out an internal scream. It deeply hurt her the way some people think they can treat women and how easily this mentality is passed from generation to generation or how quickly some people will brush off legitimate concerns about sexually predatory behaviour.

She keep on pondering about the moment when she finally confronted her teacher and made a brave attempt at telling her parents about the horrifying thing happening to her for the past few weeks. Despite the fact that the way she revealed to her folks wasn't precisely alluring, smoothly built bundle thinking of her as being only a teenager, regardless it was difficult to turn away. Be that as it may, her folks looked away reasoning that it to be one more reason for not examining in light of the fact that that is the thing that more often than not guardians might suspect, in any event that is the thing that they thought around then. It's a shame because it is because of these kind of reasons that for many the anger and the fear grips tightly around the throat so that they can't speak. They forget to realize that they are not alone and not to blame, and that they must not go unheard.

Accordingly, selling oneself on oneself starts to become an obsession and make the midnight thoughts circle relentlessly. For her, it was a cry for help which got unheard and changed her so much that, now she feels as if she is damaged. Is it what we call fear, or it's just that people start considering themselves broken after such horrified instances. It is nerve-racking for people like her to show how much sexual abuse and harassment effects them, and how it can sometimes haunt them for years.

After all, we all are stuck somewhere, and just want to move on.
